A UK, Republic of Ireland or qualifying Commonwealth citizen. Qualifying Commonwealth citizens are those who have leave to enter or remain in the UK, or do not require such leave.
A citizen of a European Union country living in the UK
A citizen of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or a British Overseas Territory living in the UK
Proxy Voting
Proxy voting is a convenient way to ensure your vote isn't wasted if you are unable to physically get to your polling station for reasons such as disability, you're away on holiday, or you are in the Armed Forces.
Proxy voting basically means you are giving permission to another person to vote on your behalf. The named proxy should be a close relative and/or someone you trust
